Roberto Diez makes clear that one of the things that sets his style apart from many restaurants on the island is his desire to personally purchase fresh, seasonal, Mediterranean products straight from the market and then use those quality ingredients to fuse various cultures together, which you can see in our varied and extensive menu. Here at Son Julia we have taken this use of local produce to the next level by planting 100 olive trees of the local Arabequina and Picual varieties, which we intend to use to produce our very own olive oil, because Roberto believes that “A good olive oil is one of the 5 most important ingredients” when it comes to cooking. As well as the olive oil we are also proud of our own Son Julia white Chapren wine. With Majorca rapidly becoming a well known area for wine production this light, fruity wine is made from autochthonous Prensal Blanc and Chardonnay grapes and is grown here in our very own vineyard. It is part of the new and updated wine list, which means you can try it with one of our mouth-watering dishes at our wonderful restaurant.
