Sometimes it feels as though things never stop during August in Majorca and another date to put in your diary is that of the summer festival of Sant Roc in Porreres. This yearly event which takes place in the charming town of Porreres near to our 5-star hotel involves a whole host of sporting and cultural activities, including concerts, awards and theatrical performances. The whole thing kicks off on the 9th of August with the well known singer Pablo Milanes putting on a special show at the Santuario de Monti-Sion. This celebration finishes on the 16th of August and is a great way to get to experience some of the traditional Majorcan culture and towns whilst having a good time with locals during your holiday at Son Julia.
