With the Easter holidays being the first major holiday since our re-opening we want to celebrate in fitting style by hosting the ever popular Easter brunch, which has become a yearly fixture in the Son Julia Country House & Spa calendar. This time of year is one of our most recommended seasons to visit Majorca, with Spring finally upon us meaning beach days, warmer evenings yet fewer tourists than you’ll find during those peak summer months. There are many wonderful ways to spend this time of the year but a holiday in Majorca is surely one of the best, so follow our guide to the best ways to spend your Easter holidays.
On your arrival at our boutique hotel in Llucmajor you will be able to relax in our stunning 15th century manion, just 20 minutes from the capital city of Palma de Majorca. Enjoy one of our stunning 32 spacious rooms which includes our 4 deluxe suites, which are new to this year. With the warm summer weather the immaculately kept gardens become the perfect place to lose oneself and the track of time. These also play host to our easter egg hunt which takes place on the 21st of April, in what is the perfect festive activity for the kids. You can also relax at our brand new Mandarina Bistro which is found on our picturesque terrace.
Also taking place on the 21st of April, we are thrilled to once again celebrate Easter with a traditional Easter Brunch. For just 45 euros per person (25 euros for children under 12 years) guests will be able to enjoy a wonderful feast prepared by our top chef Roberto Diez, who is also head chef at our incredible Las Bovedas Restaurant, as well as a welcome glass of cava, water and coffee. Here at our 5-star hotel we have the perfect way to spend your Easter Sunday. So book your place now at the table and enjoy a feast to remember.
This time of year is a perfect time to explore the city of Palma. The beautiful old town, with its narrow alleys that are often a little too bustling in the summer months, are able to transport you through the decades and into the authentic Majorcan experience. This city is the perfect place to take a stroll, find some souvenirs in the charming boutiques and high street stores or simply enjoy a coffee in one of the many beautiful sun bathed squares. This month is also extra special as with Easter comes the unique holy week celebrations which are a ‘must see’ during your Easter Holidays. These are the best way to experience a centuries-old tradition and get to know the people of Palma who line the streets and celebrate like no other.
If you prefer to get out of the city walls then another one of the best ways to get to know the island is by exploring the path less followed on one of the wonderful hikes. Majorca is known as a hiker’s paradise thanks to the breathtaking mountainous region which can be explored on foot with plenty of trails all over the island ready to be discovered.
So whatever you feel like doing, we have it waiting here for you this Easter. Come and see us here at Son Julia Country House & Spa and let us make this special holiday unforgettable.
